Free Jewelry!

A few months ago, I found this website that offers you free jewelry. All you have to pay for is the shipping/handling. I look every few days, and have never really seen anything that I like. Last week, I looked and they had a ring that my size and my birthstone. So, for $6.99 I got this sterling Silver and Peridot Ring! The items that are on there rotate every few minutes, so they are constantly offering new items. Check it out if you get a chance. Let me know if you find anything, I would love to hear about your good deal!

Fireproof

Andrew and I went to see Fireproof today. It was great! I laughed, I cried, and I got a good perspective of what some married couples go through. I would highly recommend going to see this movie. I am so Thankful for a Wonderful Husband and a solid marriage. No, we are not perfect, but because of the forgiveness that is offered to us from God, we are open to giving that forgiveness to each other. I love you Andrew, and am so blessed to call you my husband.

Shopping!

Very rarely do I get in a shopping mood, but last night I was in one. I started at Wal-Mart, because I had to get some ingredients for a dip I'm making on Friday. (I'll post the recipe for that later) I have been wanting a new pair of brown shoes, so I headed off to the Shoe Department, not thinking that I would find anything, and I found these!
I think they are super cute. And you will never guess what kind they are! Dr. Scholls. I thought Dr. Scholls only made "Grandma" shoes, but I was wrong. Well, I couldn't buy new shoes without new socks, so I headed over to the sock dept. and found some really cute brown socks to go with my new cute brown shoes. After leaving Wal-Mart, I thought to myself, "I need some new pants to go with the new shoes," so I made my way to the mall. I happen to have an Ann Taylor Gift card, so that was my first stop. I really wanted some Khaki pants, but they didn't have any that I liked. But they did have these really cute dark jeans. They fit great and I can wear them to work. So, of course I needed a new shirt to go with the pants, that go with the shoes. I only tried on one, and I really like it. It is a nice fit, and I think is flattering. I don't own many brown shirts, so I thought my wardrobe could use one. After paying for my clothes at Ann Taylor, I headed to the Bra and Pantie store. They had their bras buy one get one 50% off. So, I got two. They also had some panties on sale for .99 cents each. So I got a few new pairs of panties. (I know...TMI.) Walking out of the store, with my purchases in hand, I was happy. There is something to be said for Retail Therapy. It works!

First Official Day of Fall!

Today was the first day of Fall, and it was wonderful. The temperature was perfect. I took Molly for a walk when I got home from work. I have tried, in the past, taking both Molly and Toby for a walk at the same time, and it is not fun! I figure I can take Toby for a walk tomorrow night and leave Molly home.
One great thing about fall, is the new shows come on. This week The office and Grey's Anatomy start. I love both of those shows, and they are on at the same time! It's not fair. I usually end up taping one and watching the other.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a nice week, and go outside and enjoy this beautiful weather!

What a great Weekend!

This past weekend at Edisto Beach was great! We had perfect weather the whole time. Spending time with my family was really nice. The only thing that would have made it better was if Andrew had been there. But he had to work, so he stayed behind. We really didn't do a whole lot, but we had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from the weekend!

This is what I woke up to every morning!

Thankful Thursday

Today, I am thankful for my parents. Especially this weekend, since they are taking the family to the beach for the weekend. My mom got us a 4 bedroom Condo at Edisto Beach for the weekend, and I am super excited. Thanks Mom and Dad for renting the condo, and letting me ride with you. This is going to be a fun weekend. Molly on the Run!

Last night, I was sitting in my neighbors dining room scrap-booking, when I look out the window and see Molly running around their backyard. How is this possible? We have an invisible fence. She shouldn't be able to leave the yard. Well, I run outside to grab her, and she comes running right to me. I bring her and Toby into the house and check the batteries on their Collars. Both of the batteries are dead. I go to get a new battery, and we have no new batteries. So, for the remainder of the night, both dogs have to stay inside. It was a bit of a stressful night. I have ordered new batteries, and they should be here next week. I will never run out of batteries again! Molly has never tried to run through the "invisible fence", but now that she has, I need to make sure I check her battery pretty regularly.

After all of the excitement, I was able to get some scrap-booking done. I brought my cricut to show all of the girls, and they all love it just as much as I do. They all said that they would be asking for one for Christmas! I was happy to share my new toy with all my friends. I will try to post pictures of the new scrapbook pages that I have done recently.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I haven't blogged in a while...

So, it's been a few days since my last post. Not much has been going on.
Last Thursday I did go to a Creative Memories Party. CM has such wonderful Scrap booking stuff. They have beautiful paper and albums and a lot of neat tools. I ordered some Christmas paper and some Disney Paper. I have an on-going Christmas Scrapbook that I add to every year. I also have an on-going Disney Scrapbook. My husband absolutely loves Disney, so we have been there several times. Actually, our next trip is in December. My In-laws are taking the whole family.

Yesterday was Labor Day, and it was nice to have an extra day off. Andrew, however, did not have the day off. He missed out on the family BBQ. Mom made 3 different desserts! We had peach pie, peach cobbler, and orange dreamsicle cake. All three were outstanding!! My mom is definitely blessed in the cooking/baking department.
