Our Trip to Disney - Day 1

Last Thursday, Andrew and I headed down to Orlando, FL to spend the weekend at Disney World with his family. His parents decided to take the whole family down for an early Christmas celebration. I have never been to Disney at Christmas time, so I was really looking forward to seeing everything decorated for Christmas. We left at about 9:30 am and drove straight through to Orlando, only stopping once for lunch. We arrived at our Resort at 5:30 pm. We made great time! We checked into Saratoga Springs Resort and then went straight to our room. After unloading the car, we got on a bus and went to Downtown Disney to buy our Annual Passes. We will be going back to Disney next summer, so it is a better deal to buy an annual pass rather then buy tickets for each day. We looked around at some shops and then it was time for dinner. We decided we would have dinner at Ohana's at the Polynesian Resort. The restaurant has a great view of the Castle, and at 9:30 we had great seats to see the fireworks. It was a very long day, so after dinner we went back to our room and went to bed.
Up Next - Day 2 - Magic Kingdom and the rest of the family arrives.

Merry Christmas VS. Happy Holidays

This morning when I pulled up the internet, this is what was on the main screen of MSN.

I went and voted and the results were not very suprising to me, but probably were for some people. Here is the run down:
How should retailers mark the holiday season?
76% - Merry Christmas
7.4% - Happy Holidays
16% - A mixture of both
.4% - Something else
So, lets just call it what it is... Christmas!
Next time you are out and someone tells you to have a "Happy Holiday", kindly answer back, "Merry Christmas." It's time to put Christ back in Christmas!
Merry Christmas!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

The Christmas season is upon us, and I figured I would spruce up the look of my blog a little bit.
What do you think??

Four Christmases

Andrew and I went to see Four Christmases on Thanksgiving Day. It was a really cute movie, and put me in the Christmas Spirit. I would definitely recommend going to see it sometime during the Holiday season.

This year, Andrew and I spent Thanksgiving in Richmond, VA. We had a lovely lunch out, and then walked around the capitol building downtown. Here are some pictures from our day.
