Live from Hamburg!
Well, I made it!! I got here today about 1:15 pm Hamburg time, (8:15 am SC Time). The plane ride was long and cramped. It was a full plane, so there wasn't much room to spread out. It seems like every time I get on a plane, the seats are smaller and more cramped. I only managed to get about 3 hours of sleep on the first flight, and about 45 minutes of sleep on the second flight. It is now about 10:15 pm in Hamburg, and I can't believe I am still awake. I'm headed for bed right now. Jennifer is taking me out sightseeing tomorrow, so hopefully I will have some pictures to post.

Leaving, on a Jet Plane...
All my bags are packed I'm ready to go...
If you notice my countdown above, Today is the Day!! My flight leaves at 9:15 pm tonight. I'm just about ready to go. I have to throw a few more things in my suite case when I get off work and then run by the bank. Hopefully I will be able to Blog while I am there, or at least post some pictures.
Please say a little prayer for me tonight as I'm flying over the Atlantic Ocean.

Happy Birthday Leilani!
Today, my Niece Leilani, turns 3! I'm going to be in Germany when they are having her birthday party this weekend. I hate that I'm going to miss it, but I'm sure Grandma will take plenty of pictures. I will post pictures of her birthday gift that I made for her sometime after she has a chance to open her gift.

Andrew got a new toy.
Since June 29th, 2007, my dear husband has wanted an iPhone. Well, there was no way we were going to pay the $600 for one back then. Also, we were in a contract with Sprint and only AT&T has the iphone. It would cost us $150 per line to cancel that contract. March just happens to be when Andrew's contract renews, so yesterday, he got his iPhone. All I heard from the moment we walked out of the store, was how great it was, and all the different things it could do. I'm so glad that he likes it.I have to wait until September to change over to AT&T, so I have a few months to decide if I want an iPhone too.
I think if you asked Andrew, he would tell you that I am the best wife in the world. I figured it was only fair; he gets an iPhone and I get to go to Germany and London for 10 days.

He's Home!!
After being in Virginia since January 30th, Andrew is home!! It was a long month. As of right now, he is back working at his "home" store in Shelby. Hopefully by the end of this week we will know where he will be spending the next few months. The thing about being a Chick-fil-A Interim Manager is, you never know where you are going to be working, or how long you will be there. I'm just so glad to have him home for now. The bed is a lot warmer at night, with him next to me.

Little Dresses for Africa
Little Dresses for Africa is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide relief to children in Central Africa. People from all over the United States join together to make little dresses out of simple patterns. Some sew. Some donate. Some go to Africa and some send others. Little Dresses for Africa makes all the arrangements to get the dresses to the children and distributes them through the orphanages.
My sister's and I will be making as many dresses as we can to donate. Thanks to my Father-in-law and Miracle Hill Thrift store, I have 18 pillowcases to start with. In just one hour on Sunday afternoon, I made the first one, and I think it turned out so cute. If you would like to help, just let me know, or click on the link above for more information.

A Dork no More
I finally found some shoes! You'll never guess where I found them...WAL-MART!! That's right. Wal-Mart! I had given up hope of ever finding any shoes, and as a last resort I went to Wal-Mart. I didn't find just one pair, I found two! Not only are they cute, but they are comfortable too. Dr. Shoals and Earth Spirit do a good job. I've worn them all weekend, and I haven't had any problems with either pair. So, in the next 10 days before I leave, I will try to break them in as much as possible. I showed them to Jennifer on Skype yesterday, and she said they looked very European. Take a look and let me know what you think.
