More Fall Fun

On Saturday, Michael and I went with Andrew's family to Cooley's Farm (Strawberry Hill) to eat lunch and ride the hay ride. We went last year and had so much fun.

The Hay Ride was a little different this year, but just as much fun. Michael thought he wanted to feed the cows, until he saw their giant tongues, and then had second thoughts. 

He quickly handed the cow food to me, and said, "Mama feed the cows!" He loved watching the cows, but did not want to get close to them.

After feeding the big cows, we got to watch them feed a baby cow.

 Then it was time to play and pick a pumpkin.

Michael is loving pumpkins this year. Every time he sees a pumpkin, he points it out, and wants to hold it.

We had a fun day on Saturday, and look forward to going again next year.

Fun on the Farm

On Saturday, we went up to Strawberry Hill with Andrew's family.
We went last year and had a great time, but Michael was only 2 months old, so I knew he would have a great time this year. 

It was a beautiful day again this year, but not as warm as last year. 

There were tons of pumpkins to chose from. 

We had a great time on the Hay Ride. 

 We got to feed some cows. 

Andrew also got to chase and catch a pig, which was a lot of fun to watch!

There were also two sets of twin baby cows. Michael loved the baby cows and he kept mooing at them and then they would moo back. 

He also got to pick a pumpkin right from the pumpkin patch.

Fall Fun at Strawberry Hill

A couple weeks ago, we went to Strawberry Hill with of Andrew's family. It was a beautiful day and warmer then usual for October.   We enjoyed lunch in the cafe, and then a relaxing afternoon at the "farm."

While Amy, Mike, Abby and Maggie went on a hay ride, we stayed back and enjoyed the rocking chairs.
They said the hay ride was a lot of fun, and maybe next year, it will be something Michael will enjoy. This year, he would have slept through the whole thing.
