Thanksgiving in Hilton Head Day 3, 4 & 5

Friday we did more of the same. Relaxed, swim, ride bikes, enjoy the weather. But we did have some fun at the Shelter Cover Marina Christmas festival.
We rode our bikes over the bridge to the Marina, to see what all they had. They had a bounce house, train rides, and Santa!

Michael is all ready for the train ride!

Off he goes!

Fun ride!

The line was super long to see Santa, and Michael didn't want to wait, so we left and went to get something to eat. The rest of the day was spent riding bikes and swimming, and some food thrown in.

Saturday we headed over to the beach to fly our kite. The water was really cold, so there wouldn't be any swimming for us in the ocean.

Love my boy!

And this boy too!

Flying the kite!

I started writing in the sand, and Michael wanted to, also.

After the beach, we went back to the nice warm, heated pool and we were the only ones there!

I couldn't believe how empty it was!

We saw a lot of this! Him underwater and just his feet sticking out.

Sunday morning is was time to head home. We did go spend a little time at the pool again before we had to leave.

It was a great little vacation! Hilton Head is one of our favorites and hopefully we will be back again for spring break!

Thanksgiving in Hilton Head Day 1 & 2

This year for Thanksgiving, we decided to ditch our families and head to Hilton head Island for the week. It turned out to be a great idea! We had a wonderful time, and it was so relaxing. We stayed at Disney's Hilton head Island resort,  like we did in May.

First thing we did after checking into our room, was go get our bikes. Michael talked us into putting his training wheels back on his bike, so we did. He just isn't comfortable starting out and turning on just two wheels. He will get there, just needs some more practice.

So we rode...
And rode...
And rode...
All over the resort! That is definetely Michael's favorite thing!
This is the view from our balcony. Through those trees is the marsh.
On Wednesday night was a full moon and it was so big and bright! I tried getting some pictures of the moon reflecting off the water, but they all turned out blurry.

Thursday morning we woke up and had no plans! Which was really great! We watched the parade on our pajamas, then the boys got dressed and went for a bike ride all around the resort. After an hour or so, they came back to get swimsuits on so they could go to the pool. The weather was absolutely gorgeous the whole week! But yes, the pool was heated too.

Michael didn't miss a beat when it came to swimming. He was jumping in and swimming everywhere! And went on the slide too many times to count!

After swimming, it was time to go eat some Thanksgiving Lunch! We went to Stack's Pancake house and had the traditional Thanksgiving pancakes! It was great!

After lunch we drove around the island, and let Michael take a little nap in the car.

Once back at the resort, Michael and I went to see Shadow, and ride our bikes.

I took some pictures of Michael around the resort.

And we went to the playground to play.

After playing and riding, we stopped for a Mickey Bar!

That night, we drove over to the new Shelter Cove Shopping Center to get something for dinner.
The lights at the shopping Center were so pretty!

Well, that was day 1 and 2. I'll be back with days 3 and 4.
