What a Week!

This has been a crazy week. I have wanted to post an update several different times, but I just never found the time. Here is a brief overview of our week:
Michael received a beautiful flower arrangement from his Great Aunt Marjie and Uncle Barry.
On Sunday, we tried out the swing for the first time, and he really liked it. We have since put him in it a couple more times, and each time, he really enjoys it.
On Monday, our friend Lindsay and her son Ethan came to visit. They are moving to NY, and I hate that our boys aren't going to be able to grow up together.
Also on Monday, Mommy went back to work. But Michael got to come too, and he is a wonderful assistant. I work for a company that is closing down, and I thought I would be done, by the time Michael got here, but it turns out they still need my help. So we go in every day at 1 and work till 5. Michael is so great while we are there. He mostly just sleeps, but when he is awake, he keeps all of the men there entertained.
Here Michael is with Jonathan at work. Friday was his last day, and we are going to miss him so much.
On Wednesday, we went over to my parents house and Sarah's family was there. That was the first time for Henry and Zoe to see Michael. They both loved holding him, and Henry even gave him a little kiss.
Andrew, Michael and I with Grandma Cox.
Four Generations - Great Grandma Cox, Papa Cox, Me and Michael

Every morning, Michael has about an hour and a half of good awake time. He is so happy, and just loves to look around.
I got out this toy for him to play with, and he just loves to look at it and smile.
It has been a great week, but a busy week.

Not Much Going On

But here are my walking totals from last week:
Sunday: 2.17
Monday: 1.37
Tuesday: 2.08
Wednesday: 2.56
Thursday: 0.87
Friday: 0.96
Saturday: 2.41
Total: 12.42
Not feeling too good this past week, so I only did the minimum, as you can see. I had the most bizarre sickness. Around 6:00 pm each evening, I would get a fever and just feel miserable. So when I would get home from work, I would take a Tylenol PM and go to bed. Work is crazy right now, and I think the stress is making me physically ill. Things are not looking good at work, and I'm just waiting to get laid off. They cancelled our insurance last Tuesday, and things have gone down hill from there. So, if you know anyone hiring, please let me know.
Anyway, this week, I'm getting my butt back in gear, and will be walking a lot more, hopefully back up to 20 miles a week.

Hello from Huntsville, AL

Monday morning, I was approached by my boss and he asked if I would be able to go out of town this week, and spend the night. I didn't have anything going on this week, so I told him I would. Little did I know what would happen next. Within an hour, I found out that I would be traveling to Alabama with one of our project managers. My company has an office in AL, and that is where I would be spending the next 3 DAYS! That's right! I will be here until Thursday. I am the kind of girl who likes things planned out, and this was not planned. I had to book a flight, rental car, and hotel rooms all before leaving for the airport at 2:30 pm. It's a good thing I live close to my office. I ran home at lunch and packed my bag very quickly. I also had to make sure that what I was supposed to normally do this week, was taken care of. (Thanks Sarah!) When we got to the Charlotte Airport, the check in for NWA was ridiculous! Nobody knew what was going on, and when we finally got to the front of the line, we were told we had to check in with US Airways! What! Well, our original flight had a layover in Memphis, TN, and apparently that flight had been delayed out of Memphis, so they booked us on a non-stop straight to Huntsville! I guess it was worth the wait in line, since there was good news. We got to Huntsville 3 hours earlier than we would have! After getting our luggage, finding the rental car, and checking into the hotel, George and I went for dinner. We had Mexican, and it was pretty good. There is a one hour time difference here, and by 9:00 I was tired, since I normally go to be around 10:00. We had to be up and at the office by 7:00 this morning, but that is where the time difference helps out, since I really didn't have to wake up any earlier than I normally would have. So, today had been full of sorting and filing, and organizing (That is what I'm doing down here). They took us to lunch at a place called Tommy's Pizza. It was very good. We ordered a whole pizza to share between 5 people, and it was seriously 3 feet wide. After lunch it was back to work sorting, filing, and organizing...fun...fun...fun... I am back in the hotel room, and I even brought some work with me to do back here. What else am I going to do?
On a separate note, I just talked to Andrew, and he said that some of my tomatoes finally got ripe enough to pick, so he is sending me pictures to put on here. I was a little sad that I missed out on picking my first tomato of the season.
