Michael's 18 Month Pictures

Yesterday afternoon, my sister came over to take Michael's 18 month pictures. It was beautiful outside yesterday, and perfect weather for an outside photo session. Here are just a few pictures that she posted on Facebook.

Andrew came home from work early, and we were able to do a quick family photo too!

My little Christmas Cutie

Yesterday, my sister Sarah asked if I wanted her to take some pictures of Michael. She was out taking pictures of her kids and my other sister's kids.
I was excited to have some pictures of Michael in his Christmas outfit.
Here are just a few she put on Facebook last night.
Thanks Sarah, you did a fantastic job, as always.

At one point during the session, Michael ran right up to her, and gave her the sweetest hugs. He loves his photographer!
Here are just a few she put on facebook.
He's saying "I'm one!"

Check out all those teeth!

Thanks for doing such a wonderful job Sarah! We love you!

JOY

Here is just a short little video from Michael's 9 month photo shoot with Sarah Hawkins.
She was doing the silliest things to get him to smile.
Seeing the joy and hearing the laughter makes this Mama so happy.

6 Month Pictures

Last week, Sarah came over to take Michael's six month pictures. We are participating in her "Watch me grow" program. I'm really looking forward to seeing the end result in a few months. I know he is going to change so much in the next six months. He has already changed drastically in the last 6 months. Anyway, here are just a few from his session. I LOVE how they turned out! He loves showing off those teeth!
Mama and Baby having fun!

Love his eyes in this picture!

Deep in thought...

Was very into this stick

He was getting sleepy by the end of the session.
I took full advantage of him wanting to cuddle. That doesn't happen too much anymore.

Thanks so much Sarah! You did a great job! Can't wait to see the rest!

Thanksgiving 2010

We celebrated Thanksgiving with my family this past Sunday. We started out by taking some family pictures. My mom really wanted a current picture of all of our families, and then a picture of all 2o of us in it. So, Sarah set up her tripod and we all endured an hour of picture taking. You can imagine how hard that is with 10 children. But, we were able to get several really good pictures.
Here's Mom and Dad with their four daughters.
Becky-25, Me-28, Kelly-30, Sarah-32
And the sisters
After all the picture taking, we went to Mom and Dad's house for a wonderful Thanksgiving meal.
Michael's bib says, My Family is Thankful For Me! and that about sums up what I am most Thankful for this year.
I made this shirt for him for his first Thanksgiving. It says, Gobble till you Wobble.
Everyone brings a dish and Mom makes the Turkey and Ham. She sets up a huge table in their living room, and there is enough room for all of us to sit. (Except Michael, he was asleep)
The two babies of the family. This is the First Thanksgiving for both of them.
Charlie was so cute, he wanted to hold Michael. Doesn't he look like a proud big cousin?
It is always a fun, but chaotic day. We are so blessed to all live so close and are able to celebrate what we are thankful for, with each other.
Next post, I will do a whole report with pictures of our Thanksgiving trip to Blue Ridge, GA to visit Mimi's family.

Christmas Card

Here is our Christmas Card for this year.
I look forward to making our cards every year, and this year was no exception. I actually made them in October. I was way ahead of schedule.

The Front
The Inside
It reads "May the glory of Christ's birth bring you joy and hope at Christmas time and always."

I usually put a picture of Andrew and I from our vacation during the year, but this year, I wanted my sister to take some "Christmas" pictures of us. And of course, I wanted to make sure my Dogs made an appearance on our card too.

The pictures were taken by Sarah Hawkins Photography. Go Check her out!

Christmas Card Photo Session

On Sunday, My Sister Sarah took our pictures for our Christmas card. We went to Limestone College to take the pictures, since everything was decorated so nicely for Christmas. We brought the dogs too. That was Sarah's first experience doing a portrait session with dogs. They were kinda crazy, but she ended up getting some great pictures. These are just a sneak peak at some of the pictures. We had a great time, even though it was freezing and the dogs were crazy.
Thanks Sarah for taking our pictures! I'm so happy with how they turned out!
If you want some pictures taken, I would highly recommend Sarah, not just because she is my sister, but because she is a very talented photographer! Check out her Blog, She does Great Work!
