Michael's Scrapbook - Up To Date!

Over the past few weeks, since I completed my Christmas Scrapbook, I have been working on getting Michael's Scrapbook up to date. The last pages that were done, were from August. So, here are September through the end of December! (I know the pictures are not that great. I just snapped them really quick with my phone, and tried to avoid getting a glare from the overhead light.)

It is a wonderful feeling knowing that all of my scrapbooks are up to date! Now I can focus on my plan for my Hawaii album! More on that later.

Finley's Blocks and Blanket

After Julie picked out her bedding, she decided pink and turquoise would be good colors for Finley's blanket and blocks.

I love these colors together!

I love how the blocks, blanket and hat all turned out! The colors are so cute together. I hope Finley likes them. I'm so glad I finished them in time for Finley's arrival.

Canvas storage box

I found this idea on Pinterest, and loved it!

So, last week, I went to JoAnn's and found some cute fabric, so I could make some boxes for Michael's closet. This weekend, I made this cute storage box.
Since This Blog already did a great job with the tutorial, I won't post how I made it. Just follow her steps and you will be good to go.
The only thing is, I should have got more fabric. In her tutorial, she said she was able to cover the box using 1/2 a yard of fabric. So, I got a whole yard, thinking it would be enough for two boxes and it wasn't. So, now I have to go back and get more for my second box. So, made sure you measure your box first, and measure the fabric you are getting, just to make sure you get enough.
But anyway, I love how it turned out, and I'm thinking about where I could put some more of these. They are great and so practical for storing so much!
I also have to give a big THANK YOU to my Mom, who helped me sew the lining. Thanks Mom, you ROCK!

Baby Blanket

Here is the latest crochet project I have been working on.

It is a baby Blanket for my friend Jessica. Her new little baby girl will be here sometime in March.

I also made a matching hat. I really like how it turned out.

I tried using a different pattern to make the flowers, and they were much easier this way, than the way I used to make them.

I have her the blanket this morning and she loved it! Can't wait to see her all wrapped up in it.

Made with Love for my Son!

I made a blanket and hat to send to the baby while he is in temporary care before we get there. If I can't be there with him, at least he will have something that I made with love for him, and will smell like Mom and Dad!

Happy Birthday Zoe!

I'm really late in posting this, but last Saturday night, we celebrated Zoe's 2nd Birthday. Here are some pictures from her Frog Princess birthday party. Mom made the cake. Isn't it so cute? Here is Zoe watching a movie with Elise sitting next to her.

And the only other picture I got: Charlie with his Grammie.
I made Zoe some name blocks for her birthday. I think they turned out really cute. Her name was so easy to do, since it is so short.
Happy Birthday Zoe!!

Coleman Blocks

Here are my latest name blocks I created for Julie's baby. I saw the paper at Hobby Lobby, and knew I had to make some blocks using it. I found some paint that coordinated well, and Voila! I am so excited with how they turned out. I gave them to Julie this past weekend, and she loved them.
