My trip to the Dollar Tree

Clara and Lindy took me to the Dollar Tree tonight, to let me pick out my birthday presents. Here we are back at my house.

They bought me an iPod arm band and two boxes of candy. I have such sweet nieces. Thanks

Here are some pictures I took last week, while Lindy and I were out on our date.

She wanted to go to McDonald's, so that is where we went. After dinner, we went to the Dollar Tree and she picked out all kinds of goodies. I think she really enjoyed her night out.

On a side note, Kelly asked Clara and Lindy what they wanted to get Toot-Toot for her birthday and they responded that they wanted to take me to the Dollar Tree and let me pick out whatever I wanted. I thought that was so cute. So, tomorrow night, I get to go to the Dollar Tree and they will buy me presents.

Let's go on a Toot-Toot Date

Since it was Lindy's birthday yesterday, she gets to go on a Toot-Toot Date. If you are wondering what that is, let me explain. All my nieces and nephews refer to me as Toot-Toot. When Clara was born 6 years ago, I didn't want to be just Aunt Katie - I thought that was too boring. So I made up a name for myself. Yes, I am a self-proclaimed, Toot-Toot. So anyway, I started the Toot-Toot Dates with Clara, last month for her birthday. Clara chose to go to Pizza Hut for lunch, and then we went to the Dollar Tree for her to pick out her birthday presents. Once they get older, I'm sure the Dollar Tree won't work, but for now, they think it is great that they can pick whatever they want. I'm not sure where Lindy wants to go to eat, all she keeps saying is, "I want to go to a restaurant." I guess I'll see what that means when I pick her up in a little bit. Then, after dinner we will head to the Dollar Tree, where she will be able to pick out as many things as she wants (within reason).
Since I don't have any children yet, it is my job to spoil my nieces and nephews as much as possible. Isn't it great to spoil them and send them home. Maybe I will take some pictures tonight and post them tomorrow. Well, So long, I'm off to pick up my date for this evening.
