Trick or "Treatie"

We had such a fun day today!

Michael got to wear his Dinosaur costume for most of the day, and he loved it!

The celebrating started at the Library Halloween party in the afternoon.

They had snacks, candy, crafts and a costume contest!
Michael didn't win the contest, but he had a great time at the party.

From the library, we went with Sarah, Henry, and Zoe to the outlet mall.

I practiced with Michael what to say, and every time he would say, "Trick or Treatie" it was so cute, I didn't correct him. We also practiced saying Thank You.

A ton of stores were participating, so this was a great place to go, and it wasn't crowded at all.

When we got home from the mall, we went to a couple of our neighbors houses. Then we went inside to eat really quick, so as soon as daddy got home from work, we could head back out.

The only other place we went was Grandma and Papa's church for Trunk or Treat, but Michael got a ton of candy! He has so much candy, I guess Daddy and I will have to help him eat it ;)! Michael definitely understands Halloween this year, and how much fun it is!

Boo in the Zoo

Today we went to Boo in the Zoo at the Greenville Zoo. We all had a great time! Michael figured out the "Trick or Treat" thing really quickly! He loves Candy, and having people constantly giving it to him seemed like a great deal to Michael. He also was really into the animals. We haven't been to the zoo since before he turned 1, so I wasn't sure how much he would actually like the animals, and notice them. But her really liked looking at all of them, and wanted to be up close to see them all.
Ready to go in!

Checking out the ghosts!

Elephants!

Riding a lion! He loved the real lions!

Can you find Michael? He kind of blends in!

Checking out the big pumpkin!
Michael is a dinosaur this year, and he loves his costume. We asked him if he wanted to take it off when we were leaving the zoo, and he said, "No, leave costume on!" So we did. Then we went to the park, and for ice cream, and he kept it on the entire time. He loves his dinosaur, and if you ask him what a dinosaur says, he will give you a very loud, "ROOOAARRR!"

I Love Overalls

I think that Michael looks so cute in overalls. Ever since he fit into his first pair, I have loved putting overalls on him. Here are some more pictures of him in his overalls from this weekend.

More Fall Fun

On Saturday, Michael and I went with Andrew's family to Cooley's Farm (Strawberry Hill) to eat lunch and ride the hay ride. We went last year and had so much fun.

Michael and Maggie on the hay ride

The Hay Ride was a little different this year, but just as much fun. Michael thought he wanted to feed the cows, until he saw their giant tongues, and then had second thoughts.
He quickly handed the cow food to me, and said, "Mama feed the cows!" He loved watching the cows, but did not want to get close to them.

After feeding the big cows, we got to watch them feed a baby cow.

Then it was time to play and pick a pumpkin.

Michael is loving pumpkins this year. Every time he sees a pumpkin, he points it out, and wants to hold it.

We had a fun day on Saturday, and look forward to going again next year.

Fun on the Farm

Yesterday, Jessica and I met up at Niven's Apple Farm for a fun afternoon on the farm. The kids had a great time, and the weather was perfect.

Lydia and Michael just love each other, and have such a fun time playing together.
They had so much fun on these tires. They bounced and bounced!

There were all kinds of animals there: A Cow, goats, llamas, a donkey, a pig and lots of chicken.
They wanted to climb in with Bubba the cow.

Everything was a free, which we loved!

They had huge pumpkins, which the kids loved looking at.

Sweet Abby got in on some pumpkin fun too.

They have a hayride, but it wasn't running while we were there. I know Michael would love that, so maybe we will have to go back.

Finley's Blocks and Blanket

After Julie picked out her bedding, she decided pink and turquoise would be good colors for Finley's blanket and blocks.

I love how the blocks, blanket and hat all turned out! The colors are so cute together. I hope Finley likes them. I'm so glad I finished them in time for Finley's arrival.
