Christmas at Disney

The weekend before Christmas, Andrew's parents took the whole family to Disney World.
Michael on the car ride down. He liked riding in his new "big boy" car seat!
We arrived Friday evening, checked into our room, grabbed some dinner with Amy and Mike, and then went to bed early. We were getting up early the next day. Saturday morning, we got up early because we wanted to try to make it to the Magic Kingdom before it opened.
Waiting at the bus stop.

We made it there, and we were able to catch the little show they do, to open the park. It was very cute, and I'm surprised we have never seen it before.

Michael was in a great mood that morning.

First stop was to get Michael his very own Mickey Ears.

Then Pictures in front of the castle.

His first attraction had to be Pirates of the Caribbean - Andrew's favorite.

It started raining soon after we got there, so we only stayed a couple of hours. On the way out, we saw Santa, and surprisingly, there was not a long line to see him. Michael did great sitting on his lap. And Santa was such a sweet old man.

After leaving the park, we went and had lunch at one of the resorts, and then back to the room so Michael could take a nap. After nap time, we headed over to Epcot. The weather got much nicer, and we were actually able to walk around without our coats on.
That night was dinner and the Candlelight processional.

Sunday was a lazy day spent resort hopping. We started at the Contemporary with lunch, then made our way to the Grand Floridian and then ended up at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

It was so cold that day.

Look at that smile!

Sadly, Stitch was the only character we saw, Michael was not too impressed.

Then we went for dinner, and back to the resort to go to bed.
Michael and Mimi having a special moment the morning we left to come back home.
We had a good trip, but it is definitely more work traveling with an infant. Not really something I would like to do again, any time soon.

Thanks Mimi and Papa for a great weekend away!
