Thanksgiving in Hilton Head Day 1 & 2

This year for Thanksgiving, we decided to ditch our families and head to Hilton head Island for the week. It turned out to be a great idea! We had a wonderful time, and it was so relaxing. We stayed at Disney's Hilton head Island resort,  like we did in May.

First thing we did after checking into our room, was go get our bikes. Michael talked us into putting his training wheels back on his bike, so we did. He just isn't comfortable starting out and turning on just two wheels. He will get there, just needs some more practice.

So we rode...
And rode...
And rode...
All over the resort! That is definetely Michael's favorite thing!
This is the view from our balcony. Through those trees is the marsh.
On Wednesday night was a full moon and it was so big and bright! I tried getting some pictures of the moon reflecting off the water, but they all turned out blurry.

Thursday morning we woke up and had no plans! Which was really great! We watched the parade on our pajamas, then the boys got dressed and went for a bike ride all around the resort. After an hour or so, they came back to get swimsuits on so they could go to the pool. The weather was absolutely gorgeous the whole week! But yes, the pool was heated too.

Michael didn't miss a beat when it came to swimming. He was jumping in and swimming everywhere! And went on the slide too many times to count!

After swimming, it was time to go eat some Thanksgiving Lunch! We went to Stack's Pancake house and had the traditional Thanksgiving pancakes! It was great!

After lunch we drove around the island, and let Michael take a little nap in the car.

Once back at the resort, Michael and I went to see Shadow, and ride our bikes.

I took some pictures of Michael around the resort.

And we went to the playground to play.

After playing and riding, we stopped for a Mickey Bar!

That night, we drove over to the new Shelter Cove Shopping Center to get something for dinner.
The lights at the shopping Center were so pretty!

Well, that was day 1 and 2. I'll be back with days 3 and 4.
