I can't believe Michael is already two months old! These past two months have just flown bye. He has grown and changed so much. I can't believe how much babies change in such a short amount of time. We continue to be so grateful that God chose us to be his parents. What an honor and blessing it is.Here is what Michael is up to at two months old:
- He is still such a happy baby. He smiles all the time, especially when we kiss his face and tickle him.
- He has laughed a couple of times, but he doesn't laugh consistently yet.
-He has started to coo and "talk" a lot.
- After two months, he still have his beautiful dark hair and it is even getting longer in the back. I'm so excited that it never fell out. Hopefully we are past that point, and his hair is here to stay.
- Just this week, he has started sleeping really well at night. He has slept anywhere between 7-9 hours each night.
- He is still sleeping in the cradle in our room, but we are planning on moving him to his room this weekend. I know he will do fine, I'm just not sure how I'm going to handle it.
- He is still wearing size one diapers.
- He is in size 0-3 month clothes.
- He is eating 5-6 ounces at every feeding and is such a good eater.
- He weighs about 11 pounds, but we will get his exact weight when we go to the doctor in a couple weeks.
- He is 23 inches long
- We are starting to get on a good schedule, and he takes 2 naps a day.
- He loves his swing, and falls asleep very quickly when we put him in it.
- He is not a fan of the bouncy seat, but he tolerates it for about 10 minutes at a time.
- He continues to be a very content baby. The only time he gets fussy, is when he is hungry.
- He went on his first day trip up to the mountains to go to a pumpkin patch. He did wonderful, and slept most of the trip. We look forward to going back to the pumpkin patch every year.
- He goes back to the doctor on October 18th for his 2 month check up. At that appointment he will start getting shots. We have decided not to give him all of his shots at one time, so he will get one shot each month, instead of 5 shots at one time.
